A fawn was born!
On May 1st, the first fawn born this year was spotted in Nara Park.

Now is the time for deer to give birth.
If you come across a newborn fawn, do not approach it; just watch it from a distance.
Of course, do not touch it under any circumstances.
Mother deer may abandon their fawn if it smells like a human.
A fawn that can no longer receive milk from its mother will die.
It is not acceptable for you to take a fawn's life just for your own selfish purposes to take a commemorative photo.
Also, mother deer may attack you to protect their young.
For the safety of both parties, please do not approach the fawns.
