Why doesn’t that deer eat deer senbei?
Even if you try to feed “Deer Senbei” to deer, sometimes they don't eat them.
Why is that?
Deer in Nara Park, especially around the National Museum or Todai-ji Temple, are always surrounded by tourists and being fed senbei, so they get tired of senbei.
Deer senbei is like a treat for them, not their staple food.
Lying deer don’t eat deer senbei.
Ruminating and resting are also important times for deer.
In such cases, try to change the place.
Deer in less touristy areas may be willing to eat.
