A Sad Event in Nara Park -- The Kotsubu-chan Story

It is the story of a fawn who lived for only 5 months.

Kotsubu-chan was born in August.
She was born about 3 months later than the other deer, so she was a small and cute deer. So she was the center of attention of tourists.

Because of its cuteness, tourists started to chase Kotsubu-chan, touch it, and take pictures with it.
Kotsubu-chan's body had a lot of human smell, so the mother stopped feeding Kotsubu-chan, and eventually the mother threw it away.
Kotsubu-chan lived a lonely and harsh winter, but died of cold and poor nutrition.

This is not fiction, this is reality.
No matter how cute the fawn is, don't touch it and watch over it from a distance.

If you want to take a picture, don't get close to the fawn and shoot it away.

So that sad things like this Kotsubu-chan don't happen.
