Hinamatsuri

March 3rd is Hinamatsuri.
Hinamatsuri is a traditional Japanese event to pray for the happiness of girls.
It is celebrated by decorating Hina dolls and eating special food, such as Hishimochi (diamond-shaped rice cakes) and Hina-arare (bite-sized rice cracker), etc.
Hina dolls are dressed in traditional court costumes.
When this day comes, we feel that spring is just around the corner.
