Garbage left at the resting area

Garbage left at the resting area in Nara Park.
Inside the plastic bags are empty plastic bottles and bags of snacks.
Bags of snacks smell sweet, attracting deer that confuse them with food and eat them.

Those bags are made of plastic film and, when eaten, stay undigested and accumulated in the stomach, leading to death of the animal.
Crumbs of popcorn are also scattered around. Deer get sick from eating them because it contains a lot of salt.
In order to protect the lives of deer in Nara Park, please make sure to take garbage with you when leaving.
