Newborn Fawn Meet and Greet

Newborn Fawn Meet and Greet A doe gives birth from May to July.
A deer only has one fawn per birth.

A pregnant doe protected by the ROKUEN deer shelter can give birth without feeling stressed.
In June, “a Cute Newborn Fawn Meet and Greet” is held in ROKUEN.

Due to renovation work at ROKUEN, the annual "Newborn Fawn Meet and Greet" will not be held this year.
However, you can see mother deer and fawns that are protected by the Nara Deer Preservation Foundation.
Period: June 1 to July 14 (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

If you are lucky, you may be able to see the delivery itself!
The admission fee is just 300 yen (high school students and under are free of charge).
