Deer Antler Cutting Ceremony

“Deer Antler Cutting” is a traditional event that has been passed down for about 350 years, from the Edo period to the present day, to ensure the safety of deer and the people of Nara.
It’s held at the Rokuen (Nara Deer Preservation Foundation).

This year it will be held on the following dates.
November 8^th (Sat.)
November 9^th (Sun.)
11:45-15:00 (open 11:15 - last admission 14:30)
