Within the premises of Rokuen, there is an area where sick or injured deer are kept and cared for.

I visited a quiche shop.
Located near Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the shop is a great example of old Japanese folk houses with modern renovation and fantastic atmosphere.
The lunch included a piece of homemade quiche with lots of vegetables and came with a dessert. All so delicious!
