Beware of Male Deer

The deer in Nara Park have entered mating season. Stags fight to protect their territory.
You never know when a fight will start. Their fully matured antlers are sharp and dangerous (they are trimmed for safety).
They may suddenly switch from a calm state to a fighting mode. Watch carefully and keep an eye on them.
